Mission:

I’m dedicated to a hands on approach with design for my clients helping to define their best life through their living spaces. I think sideways. By introducing creative options that may be less obvious choices, I love revealing a perspective of my clients that that feels right to them through the art of design.

Perspective:

I believe that living well is ultimately knowing what makes you smile and what makes you comfortable, inside and out. Personal spaces should reflect how you want to feel. My passion for design philosophy, lighting and storytelling allows my collaboration with clients to transcend trends and dig deeper into the heart of emotional design. These spaces are the essence of unique and diverse personalities that promote well lived lives.

Experience and Expertise:

I’m multi-disiplined with formal training in space planning, interior architectural design, lighting, sensory design, custom furniture,  light fixtures, and art. This design background is important by not only elevating clients’ projects, but by understanding nuances and connections with trades that can avoid post decision making. I am able to visually create complete projects for my clients incorporating concepts, architectural drawings, lighting plans and renderings for proposed enviornments that highlight, mood, vision, scale, and personality.

Collaboration:

I work with a small team of talented artists, dependable contractors, and vendors that help ensure the design intent is seen through to the very end.

 Design Approach:

I work holistically from every angle of the project.  I create ideas, sketches, concepts and renderings living spaces by weaving their personal stories into design. I help create realistic budgets with spreadsheets, and assist with architects and contractors to create beautiful remodels and upgrades.

From Concept to Development:

A design scope is defined, and then an estimated budget is created from the client’s requests. Concepts, mood boards, and renderings are created as needed to give the clients a vision. Design details and layering with art are developed to communicate with vendors, architects, and contractors for pricing, implementation, fine tune budget, and timeline.

Purchasing, Finishes, and Scheduling, and Installation:

After the design selections are made, products are purchased and executed through Linda Allen Designs including delivery scheduling.
